Update on Bucket List:
We have been at 4 state parks since last Saturday. We have traveled from Central Texas to Palo Duro Canyon then on the Colorado. We have spent time with Indian Princesses, my bestie and her family, my sister and here little ones and I am now at my parents house. I'm pooped but am having a blast. The kids are enjoying our trip too.

Here is what we have crossed off our list:

have a picnic
go on a walk and take pictures
bake cupcakes
e-mail a friend you haven't spoken to in awhile
look through family scrapbooks and yearbooks
make a root beer float
go to the movies
go window-shopping with a friend
write a poem
make fresh, homemade lemonade
see the Alamo
make dinner for your family
have a sleepover
plant flowers
go swimming in a river
buy some crayons and a coloring book
scrapbook last school year
get a library card
go to a museum
go to a new splash pad
make popsicles
have a dance party at home
go camping
build a sandcastle
listen to live music
see a play
make ice cream
fly a kite
have a water fight
go hiking
visit a dog park
play miniature golf
visit a water park
make hand print art
visit the state capital
go sailing
read a historical marker
ride a train
attend a fair
visit a farmer’s market

We will be in Colorado for a few days (the longest we have stayed any one place in nearly 2 weeks!) and I plan on getting more crossed off the list!

Goodwill Hunted!

Have you ever been driving by Goodwill and just known if you didn't stop, you would miss something great? That happened to me yesterday. I only had about 15 minutes to spare, so I walked straight back to the furniture.
My heart started beating fast as I saw it.
I walked all around it.
I read the name on the back.
I read the price...
I took a couple of pictures...

Yeah, you see it, don't you? New Hampton Court Group by Drexel circa 1940.... Oh YEAH!

And the price you ask.... $37!
I know! NOT $370, but $37.

I went straight to the front and paid. The clerk asked if I needed to come back for it. Absolutely NOT! I will make it fit into my Xterra. I am not risking anyone getting this from me!

I am thinking I will make this my wine cabinet in the dining room. I want to add chalk paint (Chateau Grey and Country Grey). I also need to replace the back that was cut to fit a TV.
I can't wait  to get started!!!!

Make it a great day, or not, the choice is YOURS!
