I have been so busy this week. On Monday, I had a mammogram to check out a lump the doctor found over the holidays, as well as a dentist and doctor visit. I went back to the Breast Center on Wednesday for an ultrasound. The lump turned out to be basically a 9mm blocked milk duct. (haven’t breast fed in 7 years!)
Work has also been CRAZY with lots of re-evaluations and reviews too.
To deal with the stress, I have been coming home and crafting in the evenings. Just small little projects, but it has helped me keep my sanity!
I will be sharing my projects over the next few weeks. Enjoy!
For gifts, I have been decorating 24oz double walled tumblers. These were found at Wal-Mart for less than $4 a piece. Each cup was thoughtfully designed using my Silhouette and outdoor vinyl from Expressions Vinyl. Love this vinyl… I bought 24inch sheets for less than $2 each. It’s waterproof, like as in throw it on the top rack dishwasher proof!!!!
On the back side, each cup is personalized. I had so much fun with these! Cups were made for co-workers, friends, parents, kids, and Mr. Whimsy. How fun!
Here is a picture of my inspiration from Tervis. For the copywrited cups, they are the way to go, but you can’t beat making your own for less than a 1/3 of the price!
Come back soon and see what else I have been doing! Y’all have a great week!
Make it great, or not, the choice is yours!
Love, Whyt

It was scary, especially right before my 40th bday.... Thanks for your sweet comment!
Deletehmmm..this sure is a very cute copy cat! I am glad your mammo turned out OK...I get recalled year after year. I would say this challenge does not fall under my guidelines, because it is suppose to be from a magazine..but Walmart does have a circular add and perhaps they are in there and it is OK LOL! I loved your project. Enjoy the party.
ReplyDeleteI updated my post and added a link to my catalog inspiration. :-)I always enjoy your parties! Thanks Debbie!
