Chandelier Make-Overs
What do you do with those garish brass chandeliers that come in these new homes? Paint them of course! Here are 2 that I painted. Both very different…
Before:
I didn't take pictures but Erin at The Perfect Beat did...

After #1:
In the dining room, decked out for Christmas with a simple wreath and glass balls hanging and different levels. Use the stems from the wreath to twist tie it to the bottom of the chandelier.
Sand the brass to put a tooth on the surface. I hung the
chandelier from an A frame ladder so I could get at all angles. I then used Krylon Hammered Black spray paint.

Voila!

After #2:
Lauren’s Pink Chandelier. This is for my girly girl who is in LOVE with Sweet Pea Pink! I used left over paint (Vaspar satin) from her shelves for this makeover. I got the chandelier from a garage sale in my neighborhood (go figure) for $3. I made a cord cover with scraps from another project. I found the shades in Round Top for 50 cents a piece! SO for less than $6 she has a light fixture fit for a princess!
